![]() There are elements that support my giving this book two stars: even if it's a formulaic plot because it's Romance, I think some scenes were exaggerated and take out or proportion (like the teenagers verbally attacking Cherry, Annabelle's rampage towards Cherry), or the scene in which Rick tells Cherry he didn't use a condom and she tells him she took the morning after pill (So easy, huh?). The Aussie English didn't bother me either, I actually loved it, and neither did the syntax (although that part got me messy in occasions). more him kind of nice afterwards, when he showed he really loved Cherry. Rick's a bit of a prick, he has no tact most of the time and he confused her with a prostitute (gimme a break) but I found. ![]() After passing that aspect, I found her charming. The fact is there and we can't cover it.Cherry as a character can be annoying, but then again, after having lived a lifetime of insults and bullying, you can really get to be a wreck when it comes to self esteem, so that didn't bother me. The subject I can relate to, being an overweight woman myself, with a lot of bad experiences because of people's (and more specifically, men) (mis)conceptions about love and physical appearance blame our Western society or the media. ![]() Review 1: Ok.I liked the book because I'm a sucker for romance novels and I read a lot of them and I felt empathy with the main character, Cherry.
